Long term acute care hospital in central Arizona is seeking a Chief Clinical Officer. The CCO will establish staffing requirements for recruitment,selection and placement of personnel verify nurses credentials ensure inservice training and education for all department personnel recommend space and resources needed by department work with Quality Director on improvement projects plan,develop,implement and control Nursing Department budget assist in planning fiscal budget review Hospital Plan for Nursing Care on a yearly basis represent Nursing Services on hospital and medical staff committees develop longterm and shortterm goals/objectives consistent with hospitals philosophy. Will also serve as Chairperson of Nurse Council,and participate in hospitals decisionmaking structures,working with Governing Board,MBC,Senior Management Committee and Quality Council.
